Harris Receives 2024 Nancy Griffin Award

Julia Harris, MD, was honored with the Nancy Griffin Quality Improvement Award for 2024. The award is given to someone who improves Care and Outcomes, embodies the Spirit of Nancy Griffin and impacts the Network Community:

Nancy was a nurse by training and widely recognized as a leader in QI at Cincinnati Children’s, where she educated, coached, and mentored many individuals and teams. She encouraged teams to always focus on the outcome of improving care and the lives of patients and families.

Dr. Harris’ nomination noted that “Julia is kind and a joy to work with, both traits that we valued in Nancy. Julia serves as a role model and carries on Nancy’s legacy as she displays tireless, unwavering support for the quality improvement work of PR-COIN.”

Nominations are sought yearly and the winner is recognized at the Fall Learning Session.
