OUR NETWORK

PR-COIN is a multicenter learning network.  Our mission is to be the link between research and clinical practice.  We bring parents and patients together with clinicians, researchers across the United States and Canada to design, implement and spread effective ways to implement research discovery, improve care delivery and the lives of children with arthritis, and generate new knowledge along the way. 

PR-COIN is currently focused on improving the outcomes for children with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.   We are working with teams across North America and other community organizations to:

• Increase the number of children with inactive disease

• Decrease the number of children having high pain due to arthritis

• Improve patients self-care skills

As we achieve these goals and the PR-COIN community grows, we will also begin work on other rheumatic conditions.

Every child deserves the best care available.  Our goal is to identify the best care practices and make sure they are put into action and spread to all pediatric rheumatology centers!
